This was a game idea I came up with shortly after completing PixelShips. My thinking was, "What if the ENTIRE GAME was pseudo-randomly generated?"

So, Starfighter Evolution was an idea where everything would be procedural. Levels would be generated, weapons would be generated, enemies would be generated, even the player's ship!

Though unlike everything else, the player's ship would change slowly as you progressed based on how you fought. It would have six stats, balanced around a hexagon, and using one stat would shift the balance of power in all stats towards that side of the hexagon. Each stat would also affect a particular part of the ship's shape, so as your stats changed, so would the ship in at first, subtle ways, which would eventually become more pronounced.

Suffice it to say, a game like this would've been extremely difficult to make, but I have plenty of ideas for how to procedurally generate stuff. Perhaps I'll be able to show some of them off in future games? ;)

(NOTE: As with all the conceptshots I post, it is very unlikely I will ever make these games, but if you want to make them you need to contact me first!)
