Another conceptual screenshot of the first 3D game idea I laid out graphically.
This picture shows how greatly simplified the gameplay in Mechacombat would be. A lot of information is kept off-screen and only pops up when necessary, such as your current weapon, mission objectives, etc.
The unmarked gauge near the top-right is heat levels.
The status bars in the lower-left are the only part of this picture that bothered me. I couldn't come up with any good way of making them when I made this, so I settled on something weird and moved on to other things. Keep in mind, I made this conceptshot over five years ago, so I was still learning to use PSP at the time.
Again, the models are made in DoGA.
(NOTE: As with all the conceptshots I post, I don't ever plan to make these games, but if you want to make them you need to contact me first!)
