Forgotten Realms - Outside

Yep, it's another game idea of mine that will instantly remind you of another game, if you've played it. An old shareware RPG called "Excelsior".

The idea is that you control a single character from a top-down view, and that all combat occurs on-screen as you perform actions, similar to a dungeon crawler, except most of the game takes place in the overworld or towns and there's much dialogue to be found.

Of particular note in this conceptual screenshot are the "Walk, Run, Sprint" buttons, so you can change how fast you're moving, which affects your FP (Fatigue Points). Greater speed simply means that you can perform more actions before enemies get to.
